About CHOICE Learning Academy
Mission: "CLA is dedicated to educating the "whole child" and meeting individual needs through faith, by building strong relationships, confidence, and trust, as well as enhancing the pure joy of learning."
Welcome to CHOICE Learning Academy!
Choice Learning Academy is a fully accredited, non-profit 501(c)(3), private Christian school, for grades PK-12. It was established in 2015 and is located in Pilot Point, TX. Choice Learning offers families a “choice” and one of a kind educational experience for it's students.
CLA provides a rigorous and comprehensive curriculum that meets state standards. Teachers are highly qualified and Texas Certified with many years of teaching experience. The school provides students with unique learning opportunities in a stimulating and interactive environment. It prides itself on developing individual plans that enhance personalized learning and are based on each student’s needs, skills, and interests while providing a culture of support. It guarantees low student to teacher ratios, which allow for more personalization and one on one time with students.
Choice Learning believes strongly in educating “ALL” aspects of the student, including, mind, heart, and soul! The school strives to develop personal relationships with it's students and families. Parent involvement and support is critical to the students’ success, hence, teamwork and continuous communication between parents, teachers, and students is key!
CLA is a university model school where 3 and 4 day programs are available. This simply means that 3 or 4 days of the week are spent at school, while the other are spent in the "satellite" classroom at home. This model takes the best attributes of traditional private school education and combines them with the best attributes of homeschooling! All core classes are teacher directed for grades PK-8 and high school students work through an online program for their core. Many electives are available, as well as, dual credit classes through NCTC. Students start off with daily prayer, pledges, and weekly Bible lessons. Classes and schedules can be adapted to fit each students' needs. Special programs include: Texas A&M Vet Science Program, Exotic Animal Zookeeper days, College & Career Days, American Sign Language class, and yearly field trips! CLA feels it is important to give back and share talents, therefore, it collaborates with local shelters, nursing homes, etc. for learning experiences and community service projects.
