Accreditation Information
CLA is an accredited private school through the National Association of Private Schools (NAPS). The NAPS organization holds high operating and curriculum standards for all of its members and is widely accepted by most higher-level institutions. NAPS is a national, Christian-school accrediting body that offers an alternative form of accreditation for private schools.
In 2026, the National Association of Private Schools was approved as an accreditor by the Texas Education Agency of the State of Texas.

Schools that are accredited by the National Association of Private Schools will now receive the following benefits of N.A.P.S. Accreditation:
· Transferability of student credits earned in accredited nonpublic schools to Texas public schools, as permitted by Texas Administrative Code, Title 19, Part II, section 74.26(a)(2);
· Recognition of teacher service in accredited nonpublic schools for salary increment purposes in Texas public schools, as authorized by Texas Administrative Code, Title 19, Part II, section 153.1021(h)(8);
· Acknowledgement of all Texas accredited elementary and secondary nonpublic schools in the Texas Public School Directory;
· Ability for an accredited nonpublic school to participate as a private school in the Texas Education Freedom Accounts program, subject to any additional requirements established by the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts; and
· The Texas Education Agency website will link to the NAPS website.
